Sofia Dias is a multi-instrumentalist living and working in South Florida. Graduated from Miami Dade college in Music Education, Sofia focuses on world percussion and has been involved in various music projects in her community ever since. Sofia works with music in many ways, from performance to education and even therapy. Since 2018 she has held an in-depth practice of the Handpan and has dedicated most of that time studying it in the context of Music Therapy. Sofia has also been a part of Miami’s very own samba percussion community MiamiBloco since 2019, paying respect to her Brazilian heritage.
